Palo Alto Networks will participate in Interop New York 2008, to be held September 15-19 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Company Vice President, Steve Mullaney will share his insights on enterprise network security and offer advice to IT organizations looking to employ effective policies without impeding productivity or network bandwidth during the panel, "Implementing Policy and Control" on Thursday, September 18 at 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Mullaney will discuss the methods by which to influence policy to take full advantage of the latest applications – such as SaaS, IM, social networks, etc. – while protecting against potential security risks. He will also debate which types of control functions should be applied and where, and to what extent those controls should be automated.

The company will also showcase its family of next-generation firewalls at Interop booth # 1116. The PA-4000 Series next-generation firewall and the recently launched PA-2000 Series – developed for mid-size enterprises and remote offices – offer organizations unmatched visibility into and policy control over applications and threats flowing in and out of their networks.

Members of the media and analyst communities interested in meeting with Palo Alto Networks and/or seeing a product demonstration are encouraged to visit the Palo Alto Networks booth or contact Rebecca Hellman at 781-672-3145 or rhellman@chenpr.com.
